Yes, I am appalled that Prop 2 passed here in Texas, but if you think I'm shocked, you're wrong.

Texas is the buckle of the Bible Belt, y'all. If you're surprised this measure passed, you need to step back and take a long look at your surroundings.

Just because you and all your friends voted against it doesn't really mean anything in the grand scheme of things here in Texas.

Bubba Baptist and all of his 'friends' voted for it, and they outnumber your friends about 4 to 1.

I'm disappointed that the closed-minded types get to think they won, but I'm not shocked or surprised. That doesn't mean I like it.
